  4. Turn your summary into your story –  Recruiters want to learn more about you. They can already read your resume and your LinkedIn profile so try to tell them about what uniquely motivates you and what direction you’re heading.
  5. Grow your network – You could start by adding people you know from work or from school. You could also look through the lists of their connections and see if you know them as well.
  6. List your relevant skills – Read up on the skills employers want from young professionals in your field and add those skills to your portfolio.
  7. Spotlight the services you offer – Highlight the services you’ve offered in the past and the ones that you plan to offer in the future. Make sure to spin it so it’s relevant to your field.
